This folding screen uses a tight color pallet to depict Sweden
Street in Caribou, Maine, as it appeared in 1948. The
yellowed sepia tones are borrowed from the look of aged
photographs. With an upholstered back, this was displayed as
part of a summer outdoor art show in Caribou. All of Brett's
work in this show was unified by this color pallet and featured
many buildings and images of Caribou from this era.
